The place looks better with people chilling, so I won’t show you the making off process.

I like the contrast between the huge metal structure in the back and the happy place we created. Bucharest is still a city of contrasts.

Shadow @ Coresi Mall Brasov

This spring  Brasov called us again, for a nice project @ the newest mall in the city, Coresi Mall. The architect, Iulian Calen designed a green area with a bicycle parking place and a skate park, and a wood structure, that we had to colour and construct our shadow on.

When we started there were no people coming to sit on the grass, but, as we built our shadow and layers, people started coming and relaxing there, looking at the mountains and having lunch.

We are not fans of shopping resorts, in general,  but we do like this spot in the city, a free green spot with a twist. And it’s nice to see that a Mall tries to give something back to the city.

And we’ll be back in august for Bohemian Square, the urban culture festival taking place in the center of the city!

The Rainbow Caterpillar

The Rainbow Caterpillar is an object we made for Oscar After School in Tg Jiu. There are over 15 kids resting and playing with it as we write. It has many many little legs and all the rainbow colours!

For this kind of spaces we have also other versatile objects prepared. One of them is the textile hop-scotch. It can be easily used inside and moved around.

Winter Time is Happy Time!

In Bucharest winter came in quite early, so I closed myself in the studio and started working on some inspirational objects. The first one is the Christmas Tree. All made of recycled wood, forever green and with lovely lights and angels, it’s like a sensitive touch for the holiday season.

Then I remembered I had some indian stones very well kept in a a jewellery box: a very beautiful lapis lazuli, a moonstone and some interesting stone without a name:), so I made pendants out of them; not too much silver wire is used cause I wanna keep the stone important, the wire is just a net holding the energy inside.
And then, because we haven’t seen the Sun here in almost a month, I made myself one happy sunny pillow! It’s a meditation pillow, a lazy sunny Oasis in the grey city:)

First summer deco project.

We are changing the face of a bar in Bucharest: Pe Baricade.

Subsonic Festival Magic Forest

Work we did for Subsonic Festival. We had a forest and some materials to play with and tried to create a special feeling and oasis in the big dark forest. The people enjoyed the music and the deco, they were using our stuff to personalize  their tents:))

Work in progress ~ deco pentru Subsonic Festival

Saptamana trecuta am primit o provocare de la prietenii de la Buburuze, aka Madalina Pavel. Provocarea era de a transforma o padure, frumoasa de altfel, intr-un loc magic numai bun sa gazduiasca un festival de cultura bas. Primul de gen, din Romania.

Am niste poze cu work in progess, restul pozelor, mai artistice, mai de festival, saptamanile urmatoare.
